Vassal Mechanik

Volvemos a las andadas.

Dado que asistí a un torneo de Warmachine que organizaba la asociación ALEA Lleida decidí llevar la lista completamente pintada e intentar optar al menos al premio de pintura...

Una de las miniaturas fue la siguiente, un Vassal Mechanik de Warmachine. Es un pintado muy básico y rápido, unas 2 horas de trabajo, pero que me gustó el resultado.

Due I played in a Warmachine Tourney organized by ALEA Lleida I decided to bring all my army painted to participate at least for the Best Painted Army price...

One of that miniatures was a Vassal Mechanik. This is a tabletop level miniature, really basic and fast (about 2h) but I like the result.

Warmachine: Menoth Colosal. Judicator!!!

Hace dos años terminé de pintar el Judicator del ejército de Warmachine, Protectorado de Menoth. Entonces me gustó y hoy algo menos, pero me resultó muy agradable de pintar, dentro de lo monótono que puede resultar un figurón de éstas características, que de miniatura tiene poco. Por entonces, no tenía aerógrafo y fue todo 100% pincel. Hoy en día, lo haría con aerógrafo, tanto por tema de comodidad como por acabados (puedes dar un gran acabado con pincel, mejor que con aerógrafo, pero puedes volverte loco)

Two years ago, I finished to paint my Judicator for Protectorate of Mentoh Warmachine army. In that time, I liked this model and the painting work, but now I see a lot of defects and things and zones I don't like. Anyway I loved the painting of this huge-figure. In that time I didn't have airbrush, so every part is 100% brush painted. Nowadays I would paint it by airbrush due to comodity and finishing (Is also possible to give a better finishing with brush but I could go nuts with the huges surfaces :O)

Tristan Durant (Warmachine)

Y para hoy, otra miniatura de Warmachine... Tristan Durant (Triste Durán), en concreto la edición limitada de la miniatura que apareció en el Kickstarter del videojuego. Sigue siendo una miniatura para jugar, pero he puesto más empeño en la cara, a pesar de que no se aprecie demasiado debido a la fisonomía de la figura, poniendo atención en los tonos fríos y cálidos y el punto de iluminación.

For today, another Warmachine miniature... the Kickstarter exclusive Tristan Durant. This is a tabletop miniature but making more emphasis on the face tones and stpotlights, although is not really appreciable due to shape of the armor or the figure.
